I have been doing extensions for 12 years. I have taken classes in Chicago and Beverly Hills. I have done all methods, from the track and sew method, tape-ins, micro beads, microtie, fusion, and the beaded row. I currently specialize in the microtie and the beaded row methods.
The microtie method is a single grouping of hair that is crocheted into your own hair, this process is great for thin fine hair, it is easy to bend and is the least damaging method on the market. No glues, tape or clips. They last for 3 months and then you will need to replace them. I use human remi hair, and it comes in an array of colors to blend with your own natural hair. The cost is $10 a strand, that pays for the hair and installation, haircut is included. I require half down upon ordering hair.
The beaded row method is a weft of hand tied high quality human hair. It is instald by placing silicone lined micro beads in the hair and the hand tied weft is then sewn to the row of beads. The upkeep is every 6-8 weeks. This is the more cost effective method. You are able to reuse the hair for up to 12-18 months (as long as it is taken care of properly). The cost of the hair ranges from $800 to $1,000, that I will need as a down payment upon ordering. The initial installation is $500 for the first row and $200 for the second row, this aslo includes a custom haircut. The 6-8 week upkeep is $200 for the first row and $150 for the second row.
I require a consultation beforehand to determine which method best fits your needs and to determine color, length and how much hair you will require. My consultations are $50, that will be applied to the cost of your hair if you choose to get extensions.
