Eyebrows will appear darker and thicker for the first two weeks than what they will look like once healed.
It is common for the pigment to disappear during parts of the healing process and then reappear, as the skin will heal over the area and then naturally exfoliate.
The best brows require multiple sessions (at least two) for optimal results and will take several weeks to experience the healed results. Everyone heals differently, so two appointments allow the opportunity to fill in any gaps and tighten up the shape.
Pre-Care:
No brow waxing, tinting, or threading at least one week prior.
Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, and any other intense face treatment for at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Do not take Retin-A, AHA products, or Botox/fillers at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Avoid activities that will cause excess perspiration, such as working out, before your appointment.
Do not take alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, Ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E for at least 2 days before your appointment.
Avoid taking fish oil pills, prenatal vitamins, and supplements intended for hair, skin, or nails for at least 2 days before your appointment.
Post-Care:
Avoid touching your brows (do not pick or scratch) and be sure to keep the area clean. When cleansing the area, use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and water.
Whenever applying the recommended aftercare serum, be sure your hands are washed or use a clean applicator.
Allow scabs to naturally fall off to avoid scarring or patchy brows.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, swimming, hot showers/baths, and saunas for at least 4 weeks.
No Botox for at least 4 weeks. Avoid Retin-A, peels, microdermabrasion, and any intense facial treatments until the brow area heals.
Avoid any activity that will cause perspiration, such as working out, saunas, hot showers, etc., as well as eyebrow tinting for at least 2 weeks.
Once completely healed, use sunblock on the area to avoid fading.
