What’s New at Salon Alure?

We are growing!  
You may have noticed Salon Alure’s expansion when it comes to not only providing expert level hair coloring, cutting, and styling services, but also a full array of med-spa service offerings, such as skin tightening, body contouring, photofacials, and more.
Training the next group of salon and spa professionals
You may have noticed Salon Alure’s cosmetology school, Alure Hair Academy — having graduated its first group of cosmetology students this past year.
Recently, we just received news from the Virginia DPOR that we are approved to move forward with our Esthetician Program!  We are thrilled to offer this program to anyone interested in learning about professional skin care services and products, who would like to address clients’ various skin concerns and problem areas.  You will learn:
  • How to conduct a thorough esthetic consultation
  • All about different skin types
  • All different treatments for different skin challenges
  • How to create a optimal treatment plan for your clients
  • How to build your clientele and your business
  • And much more!
We highly recommend enrolling in our esthetician program, even if you are already a licensed cosmetologist.
Why?  Because if you are able to serve both hair and skin care clients, that means you are better able to support your family and reach your financial goals.  You can fill in the gaps of your day performing facials, waxing services, and more.
Upon completion of the program, we invite you to apply to become an esthetician at either our Purcellville or Lovettsville, Virginia locations.  As part of our team, you will move beyond the basics, learning advanced med-spa services such as HydraFacial, Venus Versa, and Venus Bliss.  You will be able to perform services such as skin tightening, skin resurfacing, IPL hair removal, photofacials, body contouring, and more!
